Renegade and other ????'s
Hi, i am looking to buy a jeep to do some plowing with over the winter. I finally have enough saved up to purchase one, and found a pretty good deal i believe. I am looking at one with quite abit of body rust, and minor floor board rust (all rust mentioned is all the way through not surface). It has a pretty new plow and all hydro. pumps. The guy doesnt have a set price, but while looking at it, i noticed it was a renegade. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what some of the significant upgrades were between a "Renegade" and a plain CJ-7. Thanks for your time, and any help on any subject of this jeep would be awsome, albert III

Upgraded seats, back seat, console, tach, clock, padded dash and roll bar, better top. Maybe a little better suspension, tires (Goodyear Wranglers 30")and wheels (15x8 chrome with caps).
Man if what you're saying is true about the rust, he can't be asking a lot! Depending on the age the plow might be worth a thousand or two. FYI, several companys sell replacement body parts. It almost sound like you're in for a Hole body transplant! |
