Hello folks! Sorry it has been a while since I spoke. I hope to have a few pics of my Jeep soon to share with the forum! It was a wedding gift given to me by my wife 5 years ago. I have a new 258 engine sitting in the garage. All I need is to put a new oilpan with a skidplate on it, the timing chain cover and will put on a metal valve cover. The old engine I have in it now is old and tired and has the plastic valve cover on it. My question is, is there a place that still makes or sells refurbished Dana 30 and AMC 20 rear axles? Seeing that I live in Alaska, parts are really hard to come by. It's just that I don't have the room and the right tools to do the total frame off rebuild myself. I plan on keeping as much of the jeep as stock as possible. Thanks, Mark.
