just got some new jks slickrock rear shackle hangers for my build.
I also previously put on a new rear crossmember.
now the question?
when putting the new shackle hangers on, they will not sit flat against the frame, due to the crossmenber.
Do you put a washer under the front, to shim it ,or what?
You can put a washer under it to space it at the front but the stock crossmember is trimed on the bottom edge so the hanger can mount flush to the frame.
sorry no pics but i just did that mod .You can measure the distance between frame and shackle and get a piece of plate steel and shim it.I used 3/16 angle iron and put some welds around for extra beef.Hope that helps.
