Questions on how-to change diff fluid, and others
Well no telling when the last time when the diffs, tc, and tranny had their last fluid change, so I was wanting to do this over the weekend. However, I have never done this in any car (but then again don't we all start that way) so I was wondering if there were any websites, or threads, that gives all the details I will need to know (what kind of fluids to buy, how much of each, and how to change each of them).

On the axles just pull the cover plate and that drains the fluid, wipe out the old stuff, maybe use some spray type cleaner. Clean the gasket surfaces and either buy new gaskets or break out the RTV and make your own. Pull the fill plug fill it up with 90w gear lube or synthetic until it runs out the fill hole(make sure your on level ground). Transfer case uses the same fluid. There is a drain plug on the bottom and a fill plug on the top. Transmission will either have a drain plug(manual) or just drop the pan(auto). If you drop the pan get a new gasket and filter. An auto will take some variety of auto trans fluid(consult manual).
