Question about lockouts

Lockout fried...
Find one that looks similar to mine...
http://www.amazon.com/Superwinch-400526-Premium-Hub/dp/B000C7O2BY...However I dont have stock hubs since I have quadratrac, w/ lockouts..
It says for jeeps 81-86...
Whats the difference besides wide / narrow track?
I mean it looks identical, 6 bolt just like i have.

(oh and i get that link says 5 bolt int he description but I found a pair that are 6 bolt..still says 81-86 though... isnt it just the 6 bolt until 80 then 5 bolt until 86?)

If you don't have the part-time kit installed in your Quadratrac transfer case, you'll burn up the friction clutches in its limited slip differential. You need drive flanges or the part-time kit + lockouts.

Vibration? Bump steer? Wandering? Read the article (sticky) on Steering, suspension, and driveline.

Thanks, thats another question I had though was it reads "Vehicles With Full Time 4WD Will Require Transfer Case Conversion" does that mean I cant use these hubs full time? Or it is simply stating I wont be able to drive with these in 2x4 (obviously). Jeep hammer sent me the link for flanges which is probably the way I'm going to go, but I could keep lockouts for the look factor.
Its just that statement can be took 2 ways for me.
EIther saying it isnt compatible
Or not to switch it into 2x4 with my fulltime, which is a given for any lockouts I get.

& No way i'm going to convert to 2x4 on my QT. I love the full time...
And if I were to ever go to 2x4, i'd dump the auto transmission! lol

I would think if you did not install the part time kit in your QuadraTrac
transfer case then the locking hubs would need to be locked 100 percent
of the time otherwise as gojeepin said you will burn out the clutches.

Good info here:

Well I know that already! lol.
I just ment is that what it means by that statement?
I know about the quadratrac system, I just don't know anything about lockouts.
I wasn't sure by them stating that, if they ment they couldn't be locked 100% of the time (if its bad for them or w/e)

The lockouts I had were always locked.
I think I know what I'm going to get, thanks for the help guys.
