Quadratrac Start Switch Override

I am looking to override the start switch on a 76 CJ7 that I am working on. I want to be able to start it in drive. Anyone know where this switch is located? On the column? On the tranny? Any help would be appreciated.

If you have an auto tranny with that, it should be on the steering column. You will see two bluish wires in a connector attached to a switch on top of the column under the dash. Pull that connector and jump it.

** it is there for a reason. So beware that your Jeep will start in gear**
