Putting a MC2100 on a 258

I have the carb on and everything when we turn it on gas is coming out of the top of hte carb through (I don't even know what they are called) but two holes above the bowl and there is even a gasket that covers the holes. Anybody know what to do?

Stuck float. If it is a reman, take it back. If it is used, you can try giving the top of the carb a couple good raps. If that doesn't work, remove the carb and pop the top. Inspect the needle and seat for debris or damage. Check the float to see if it is bad(sunk), then readjust the float height. If you do a search, you will find lots of info on the subject.
