Awesome! Watch out Scott, they grow up so fast. You'll look back 16 years from now and wonder how in the heck it went by so fast.

I know that kid, he owes me money.

What are the two holes in the pic for? I have everything else figr'd out. I think.

Some of these might get filled before I Herc, I'm going to fit the tub on the frame, then mock up everything to check fit, build the cage, make a bracket for the clutch linkage to the frame, wire...
Those holes are for mounting the heater box assembly if memory serves me correctly.

Hey, don't you owe me money too?
What cage are you thinking of using? or are you going to bend your own?

I was thinking Kentrol, but the shipping is crazy! mind sharing where you picked yours up?

I can't bend (well, I can't measure, so there you go), but I do have a buddy a few miles up the road who builds tube chassis drag cars. I just hate to bug him for somehting so simple...

So while I have the tub on the frame one of the things I wanted to do was to strengthen and align the clutch bracket by tieing it into the frame. (one inch BL)

Pics are self explainatory, and I think my welds look great!

I was going to ask if you should be concerned about tub and frame flex with the new yoke set-up, but you are also tieing your cage to the frame - so nevermind.

I actually got a little bit o work done on the tub.
With the Scout D44 and the new 10" wheels, we needed to do something about the 8" stick out. As much as I dont like Wrangler style flares, I had to do something. A luckey find on Craigs landed me brand new set of Bushwackers for $200. So after laying them out, Mr. Cutting wheel got us some more clearence.

Rolled the edge and all looks well.

Too much to get through inspection

Also got some time this morn to mod the hump for the trans cover plate.
One inch BL and a one inch T/C drop caused things to hit during shifts.

Fatman,

WILL YOU MARRY ME?

I get more impressed at the work you two are doing everytime I check on your threads.

Thanks for keeping us all updated regularly on the rebuild.
