No worries...and don't be so serious. Doesn't pay to be that way with a CJ, anyway. They're too fickle.

Well Fatman, et al, since the subject of weight has been brought up, I'm a little curious. Any idea of how much weight you have added to the Jeep?

Keep in mind that the CJ forum should be fun and enjoyable and everything doesn't have to be tech. If it was I'd have been gone a while ago.
I like writing these build logs and providing information because a lot of our members here feel and act like family even though most of us have never met. I'm sure I get more out of the forum than I can provide.
Ok, something tech, ... "Just because yer tyres are on the dirt, doesn't mean it's grounded"!

Yea, I guess that sounded wierd. Ok, you're a butt head.
Not enough time to finish the bumpers, got the armor.

Yesterday was a productive day!
Eric & Eddie made it over and the smell of paint was in the air.
I was really surprised at how easy the Herc was to put down. Even more impressed at the finished result.
Taped off for the second time:
First coat down:
Second coat:
I know it's the underside but I went ahead and sprayed the Herc UV while I was there:
The stuff really does make a mess, especially when you're tilting the gun to shoot an edge so I covered the driveway with plastic and seemed to capture the fly away.
