Very nice build on your CJ. The overhead console is nice. I use to have a CJ with one similar, but did not have the stereo.

Very nice fatman. My wife has fallen in love with that yellow. Can you tell me what paint code you used?
Also, what type and size of pipe did you use to run the wires thru on the fender and firewall.

With those bushwackers did you cut the body? if not how you like it? I'm looking into fender flares, but am having some trouble on a decision. I was looking at the Xenon EZ mount tj style fenders. Thanks- Mike

Hey Mike, I did cut the body.
Front fenders were modified as well as the rear wheel wells.
This thread covers the tub mods as well as some other fabrication:

for what it's worth I don't like the bushwackers. I have them on my rubicon and they are hard and brittle. there is cracks around most of the bolts now. One of them I got into with the tire offroad and it just ripped a chunk out around one bolt.
I've had the xenon i the past on a CJ and they are very tough and very flexible. I liked them alot

Man nice build! Almost makes me want to change my color scheme back to yellow and black instead of red and black but I'm still sticking with red. I just went through all 23 pages and might of missed it but how much lift are you running and what size tires? I hope mine looks just as good when I get done with it, I need all new wiring and seeing yours is not making me wanting to do it, I hate wiring lol

Yea the bushwacker's look good on your build, but to much work when i already have a restored body; I am just going to stick with the Xenon EZ mount tj style flares they bolt right up to where the stock flares our. Xenon 8710 - Xenon EZ Mount TJ Style Fender Flare Set for 87-95 Jeep® Wrangler YJ - Quadratec Tell me what you think. Thank-Mike

i like how those flare looks, how did you get the front of the flares to line up with the bodyline of the fenders? ive held my tj flares up and the angle out more then the fenders do, did you notch the flares and form them?

Just admiring your dash and overhead console. I also had Dan build me a custom dash and overhead. I am just wondering, could you give me some info on the overhead lights you are using in your overhead console? I am looking for something just like that. Where did you get it? Do you have any numbers ? Looking good.

Hey thanks Red, glad to see that it still gets looks here.
Jeep has gone through 4 or 5 phases since then:
425 HP SBC350
4/1 LoMax
14 Bolt C&C moved back 1"
Rear Discs
Outboarded 3/4 ton Dana 44 w 5" stretch
8 lug H2's
Bunch of cage work
Probably going to 4 link a Chevy D60 up front and ram it, but that's a while off.
