thats great stuff to know! i always have held true to "you pay for what you get" the lift has had tons of excellent reviews. you made the comment " add a brace, HD box bracket, and doing a TRF. " I assume you mean a powersteering brace, and what on earth is a TRF? I couldn't find in your thread if you did a body lift or not... also, did you go through all the bushings?

I am in the middle of rebuilding my YJ (I know, get out of here) and I have an electrical question. My area of struggle is definitely wiring. I have por 15 on my frame and firewall and in the rear corners of the tub underneath my tub. I noticed your ground locations look like they are painted over and now that I am getting closer I would like to know if I need to have bare metal to ground to and then repaint?
Thank you!

Of course what's not shown is the area underneath the ground wire terminals. All of the contact surfaces were polished to a bare metal to provide as much contact surface as possible. I'm thinking of cleaning the areas again and shooting a coat of clear enamel over the top.
For the interior, I ran a separate neutral Bus Bar, and have tied in accessory grounds into this for a direct earth.
Hope this helps:

Fatman! it's been a while. but to pick your brain. i love your receiver hitch idea for step ups. i wanna incorporate that as I've begun to work on the frame. the question for you. how far back did you go with the receiver? nothing precise. but a rough estimate from say the leaf spring hanger. thanks!

Looks like 4 inches back from the rear edge of the #2 body mount & about 17.5 inches from the leading edge of the #3 body mount:
