Friday night's progress consisted of mounting the bumper and started on the rear shock mounts, the bumper turned out working better than expected

this is the way i found it when i got to my cousin's shop saturday morning

he already had the upper shock mounts welded up and was working on the lowers

here is my free 10in travel shocks (thanks to hendrix for donating them to the project) mounted

and flexed

and also got the rear fenders cut and rolled to match the tire

How do you roll the fenders like that with out wrinkling the sheet metal?

The guy is a half *** good body man. He did some pretty fancy work on those tube fenders also.

cut it about a quarter inch smaller than you want it and then take and work it w/ a pair of pliers slowy going back and forth working it little by little until you finally get it and finish it off w/ a hammer and dolly.

now all thats left is getting the exhaust put on and the drive shaft extended, and then we will move on to the front axle. the list consist of wrangler rubicon express soa springs, new spring perches, shock hoops, 456 gears, true trac diff, and the riddler cover.
