Yea I know, you would think he would rather sell it to me or at least my girlfriend so it would stay in the family rather than watching it rot. I think her grandmother said it was a 1955 model and its in better shape than my 79 was.

Well so we will get back to the 7, I have a driveshaft on the way and the brakes are getting better the more I drive it and bleed them, as far as the five I really doubt I'll ever get it, I've been trying for almost2 yrs. I dont blame them for not wanting to sell it cuz if I had my grandfathers jeep I wouldn't sell it either but I definitely wouldn't let it rot, so anyways.......

Now that you've been driving the Jeep for a bit how have the seats held up? I sat in one last week at 4wheelparts and they sure were comfortable. Thanks.

I like them still, I have had them for almost 2 yrs and they still look new and they help take out slot of the roughness of driving a cj on or off road.
