I think it might finally be time to finish this thing this Summer. Man! Life sure takes over some times and brings you down a whole new road. God blessed us with 2 beautiful twin girls a few years ago and changed everything. Priorities have really changed. The jeep is in the garage and I think im finally in a position to move forward with it.
Sorry I left everyone hanging there with no end to this build. I got a few parts on order and I'm exited to hopefully bring this story to an end with you guy's
More to come.
Shaun......

SHAUN!! That's it! Congratulations, Brother. So glad to hear from you. Also glad to hear you still have your Jeep. Please don't be a stranger. Keep in touch, and let us know what's going on. Some of us still think of you.

Blessings, Brother.

Getting it closer, got the front brake calipers and hoses on. The Atlas transfer case is in and I'm finally happy with it's placement enough that I went ahead and took measurements and ordered a front drive shaft. The last peice will be a rear axle. I have my eye on a Rear dana 60. I will make my final decision on that this week and hopefully get it hear and start work on that.

Got the front drive shaft in! I was able to go with a 2" shaft and clear the tranny pan and my exhaust. The Atlas is clocked at the same 35 degrees the d300 was. I would have liked it to be clocked higher. But, then I would have to redo my exhaust. And that's not happening right now. Just need to trim a little on the skid plate. Yes, I used the stock skid for now and plan to fabricate something a little more custom down the road.

Beefy driveshaft. Looks like not much trimming is going to need to be done.

I have been doing a lot on with the LS2 Engine here the past couple weeks. I finally got my hands on a bi-directional scanner and was Abel the successfully do a crank shaft relearn with the ecm. Unfortunately, it was hiding a bunch of other codes. I was never Abel to dial in the idle like it should be. And you could smell it was running rich. But, had codes for lean conditions. After messing with it, I had come to the conclusion that I had a injector issue along with a few vacumm leaks. After pulling the fuel rail and seeing fuel leaking from a few injectors. My suspicion was confirmed. I suppose they may have been stuck and clogged from sitting so long. I just got done replacement of all 8 injectors. And I'm waiting for new oxygen sensors to come because i think i may have polluted or fouled them. Also, put another new set of plugs in. Fingers crossed. Thats the problem and i dont have to start digging in further. I'm really wanting to get this LS2 running like a top before I get the rear end done. I was Abel to drive it around the block once though using the front wheel drive and no rear driveshaft. It's been 5 or 6 years now since it moved under its own power. So, that was uplifting.
