I got the power steering pump lined up with the other pulleys and it is tracking straight now. It was in there a little crooked due to it being a bigger moded pump and it was hitting one of the four bolts that hold the accessory bracket to the engine. Also the Engine was being a little hard to start and had a erratic idle. I had a couple of the crank sensor wires crossed. fixed that and it is starting/running/ idling great now.

I have been busy with work and moving. The Jeep is Safe in Another Man's Garage, as I don't have A Safe place for it right now. I haven't seen it in two weeks. I plan to visit It soon when I get my hands on a scanning tool. I need to find out what codes it throwing and go from there. Then I will start thinking about the transfer case and rear axle.
I'm still here, you will see this thing finished. I promise.

Sorry for the ignorance, but im having a brain fart. Im trying to think how the stock setup is, because I really like this idea, and why the need for the 24" long pipe? Why not just make it the 1' section where the defrosters are and omit the rest? What am i overlooking???


-Also, what steering shaft are you running?? That thing looks tough!

you could use a shorter section if you just wanted to replace the old ducting, but if you want to add some gauges above the old oil and volt gauges, the ducting will interfere. that is the reason for the longer pipe to get the ducting farther to the right to make room for additional gauges.
The steering shaft is a borgson heavy duty shaft with damper.

Got it built, how did you secure the hose into the fittings, just silicone it in there?

silicone and a few screws through the PVC into the hose to hold it in place.

New Scanning tool should be here next week sometime, and then its ON! It's been to hot out to work on anything this last week. I tried starting it one evening last week and the idle was low again. I thought I had fixed that with a TPS reset, but I guess not. The Wife was 3 houses away when I started it up, and she said it sounded really mean!

DTC P1336 Crankshaft Position (CKP) System Variation Not Learned.
And if that's the case, then I need either the GM Tech 2 scanner to do it or bring it in once it's driving to get it done.
I'm going to give PSI performance a call seems I got the ECU and harness from them and see what their support has to say.
Other than that- that was the only code and it started right up today, but idled a little low. I need to adjust that a bit.
