Project CJ officially underway

Albeit in a small piece of the puzzle, but the instrument area looked like crap and i had no voltmeter or oil pressure gauges, so i happy with this improvement:

still a lot of work to be done, but i'm happy to have gotten underway!

nice looking guage cover glad to see those guages worked out for ya


you going to rip out that carpet and drop some Herculiner in there right?

Well, i haven't figured out exactly what to do with that... i'm gonna be removing a lot of it during the body/wheelhouse/floorpan work, so that would be a good time to replace it with something else. But the carpet in there now actually cleans up pretty well, it's just got tons of leaves and dirt and stuff in there now... which is a good reason to have herculiner, i suppose

i just find it nice to be able to pull out the seats and hose the tub down

I know a guy that painted the entire body in red herculiner. It looked really good in my opinion. I'm gonna copy him but use black instead. I'll post some pics when I get that done...
