Project CJ-7 Aka Worlds QUCIKEST JEEP Pics.

For all of you know this is the ol teal green jeep that was in JP Magazine under worlds Quickest jeep from a year ago. I just did a frame off and cut the body in half. New uuarters and all, undercarrage was all done as well. Not bad for just Me Myself and I in 4 months start to finish!!!

Someone needs to learn the difference between 'Quick' & 'Fast'...

I would have though that 217 MPH Jeep CJ at the salt flats this year would have been in contention for 'Fastest'!

Two things:

AWESOME paint color

I think it's kind of silly to put all that power in a Jeep. Jeeps aren't built or designed for speed.

That thing is gorgeous! I dig the copper/orange color too. What kind of headlights did you put in there? Those look purty cool too.

Dig the color.

The first Harley I built back in 1981, I painted a similar color. It was called "Bittersweet Orange Poly" it was a 69 Rambler color if I remember right.

Why did you "cut the body in half"? Was there a problem or did you just want to shorten the wheelbase?

I just replaced the factory steel with OMIX Factory replacement quarters. It had some old bodywork that I did when I was kid that was haunting me again.
