I started my 82 cj7 on 9/11 yes that one.I have had some set backs in life. Bought a house ,had to set it aside.Got married had to set it aside .Had a a little guy ,had to set it aside. Was depoyed 4 times had to set it aside .Got hurt in the Middle East ,had to set it aside. Now here we are ten years later and mine looks like yours.Just stick with it.It all is good, and it is better than not having a Jeep to work on. I finally am doing the final body stuff to get ready to paint it .Just por 15 the inside tub and primed it.I am painting the inside the same as the blue as the outside. I feel your pain and look forward to seeing how yours comes out . GOod luck and Happy Wheelling.

What were you thinking

A lot of times I use my build to take my mind away in boring business meetings, but keep at it, every step gets you closer. Good Luck

It looks like you are marking good progress, did you get the door hinge bolts out after torching them?

Outboard brackets with no gussets and tweaked shackle hanger maybe? :dunno:

Could just be the angle of the picture that makes that hanger look bent though.

The passenger side tire is flat an won't stay aired up that might cause the drive side sit higher n flex don't know if that's it or not but thanks for pointing that out I look into

The overpaint on the radiator cooling fins may decrease radiator efficiency is what I'm worried about especially with the trouble some V8's have keeping their cool in the summer when on the back trails.
(,,,but 'Betty' hasn't blown her top yet, thanks to the mechanical Angels up there)
