problems with charging system

My jeep is not charging. I put a new battery and alternator. Only it charge when I accelerate. The electrical coil is very hot. I don't have idea what is the problem. Please help me.

Stop throwing parts at it without having them tested for starters.

External regulator? If yes, get it checked.

How do u know it's nor charging? By the gauge? My
Guage shows anywhere from 10-14 depending on how
Cranky it is at that time. But at the alt and batt it's a solid 14.2-14.6

Deft get the alt checked out. And coil? U mean the ignition coil?
