Prestolite to STOCK duraspark diagram?

I have searched ad-nausea for this seemingly simple operation. Trying to use the wiring harness from my 77 prestolite 304 which fits up nicely to the terminal block from the cab, to power the 360amc that came from an 82 with duraspark. there are lots of threads about upgrading to hei and all of the great things about it. i would like to use the materials at hand to get this thing operating without any more bloodletting of cash and possibly upgrade to hei at a later date.surely someone has done this. It's quite possible that I'm making this harder than it is , and I have not yet tried anything. This request is sort of a preemptive search for a clue before I attempt anything over the weekend. Any help in this regard would be much appreciated.

By the way, i realize that the 360 did not come stock in the donor, but the duraspark ignition is what i currently have available and was what i used for the test run before pulling the motor from the donor.The wiring harness from the donor is an absolute disaster but I was able to cobble it together enough for a test run prior to pulling it.

This write-up should help you.

Looks like you'll need a Duraspark compatible module, coil, and a resistor wire.

Once again you have helped me immensely. My internet connection is painfully slow out here in the sticks. I can generally find this stuff but it takes hours at times. Thanks to guys like you, and others, taking a few minutes and drawing on experience, My project has been much more enjoyable, if you can call this stuff fun

The Duraspark system is identical for 6 or 8 cylinder, it is only the later I6 that got the computer inserted into the system.

These diagrams are useful, the isometric sketch is of a Duraspark II which is basically the Nuttered and Teamrushed version, the schematic is for a 1984 with the computer still in place.
