I just got one for my 78 CJ a few weeks ago from O'reilly 179.00 or close to that. I cant find the receipt. But be prepaired for a 200.00 core charge. I took my old one off first then went to get the replacement.

I've got an AGR in mine, started leaking like crazy though, and it's only turning 31x10.50s. But it makes for some really awesome steering, minus the leaks.

i got mine at napa for about 180.

same deal as keitht though. core charge was 200 dollars but i avoided having to pay it by bringing in my old box when i picked up the new one.

no regrets and warranteed.

my box is leaking so I'm going to get a new one, but the steering is not very good. It wanders all over the road and has "play" in the wheel. Do you think this is caused by the leaking box?

Got a replacement at Ribbes auto parts, they have good jeep parts access.
as I recall it cost $230
made a huge difference in the front end play

do a search in the forum for "death wobble"

try using some of those suggestions to troubleshoot your issues.

you should go through your front steering and suspension components i.e.

tires and wheels in good shape? are they balanced properly?
checking the play in all of the tie rods
checking play in the ball joints
check the steering box mounting
is the steering stabilizer good?

so the wandering could be caused by a worn box. but it could also be caused by lots of other things as well. play in all of these things translates to poor steering.
