Power steering swap for 75 cj

First off I have a 75 cj with a 304 and manaul steer, I found a j10 1979 i think with power steering on a 360. Will this be a direct bolt in swap? thanks for any help.

For the most part, yes.

You'll wanto to cut a small nipple off the end of the steering box input shaft and your existing bell couple should slide onto it. You'll need the pitman arm for a power steering CJ. The J10 pitman is too long and the hole for the drag link end is too large for the CJ part. You'll need to get hoses for any '79 or older CJ with the V8. The FSJ hoses (at least the supply hose) will not be compatible with a CJ.

I think you will need to find the CJ P/S box mount brackets.

The same bracket is used for either manual or power box on '72-75 CJ's.
