Nice Laredo. I always liked the look of the white top. I think the white matching upper door guards would really bring it together.

Glennlever, that reminds me when I first got my Jeep I went to the tag office and asked them if 85CJ was available. She said it was. I said I'll take it even though I wasn't going to put it on until I finished restoring it (6 months). She said why don't you wait until then. She obviously wasn't a Jeep owner!

Nope, I've got stock garnet carpet as well that I plan on taking to get shampooed and steam cleaned. Hope it cleans up.

Have you tried contacting Collins Bros to see what brand/color they use on their garnet restos? From what I can tell from some of the triple garnet pics from their site, the texture on the new carpet they put in appears to be pretty close to stock.

Yes I did, they use a plush cut carpet where the original is a loop carpet, Mine are in pretty good shape except that in one spot a spot light was left on facing down a burnt a hole in it.

I contacted these guys to see if they could match up my cargo carpet piece since mine is pretty worn. Just waiting to hear back. They might have the correct loop & color.

Their 2-005 looks close I have sent them an e-mail requesting a sample, also asked if they can match a sample if sent. Thanks!

I got these samples from StockInteriors

and some more from Auto Custom Carpets? http://www.accmats.com/ which had the correct loop but the color was not right. and they are expensive although it the color was right I would purchase.

There is also this. Don't know how close their burgundy is to garnet and pretty crappy reviews.

Got the standard response back, call for more information. They did say the CJ carpets are on sale until the end of June though.
