I'll give this a shot---this is my '86 (the wife's comfy AC/auto ride):

Currently an '86 CJ-7 and a '77 CJ-7 Golden Eagle---#4 and 5 following a '01 Sahara, '90 Sahara, and '85 CJ-7....

Welp... I guess it was worth a shot... I think I'm going to buy the 815 kit, even though the carpet texture is not correct. STILL LOOKING FOR MY HOLY GRAIL CENTER CONSOLE! Lol

They are out there. There was on one ebay for $200 a few weeks ago. They pop up ever so often.

I'll have to dig through my receipts, but I bought it at 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers.. (in Las Vegas).. its a stock item in all of their stores.. actually, if I remember it has a tag/decal on it, I'll look in the am.. snowing and deep out there now.. seems SmittyBilt rings a bell, but will check..

Thanks. I think Smittybilt makes the XRC bumpers, but I didn't think they fit on CJ7's. However, they do sell some sort of adapter kit for CJ7's that will then accommodate the XRC.

mine was right out of the box.. no special adapter kit, just take it out, spread the nuts and bolts out, and start installing..
