No need to clear. I did mine last winter and it's been in every rain shower since. Also sits in the South Carolina sun. Still looks like like the day I sprayed it. Still releases oil, power steering fluid and anything else splashed on it.

My cousin is Mike Owens. Don't know his Regiment. I know he spends a lot of time back and forth Afghanistan/Iraq and home.

Not sure I recognize his name but that's not saying much the way my mind's been working lately! I'll be at Fort Benning tomorrow afternoon doing some work and will ask if any of my buds there know him. Ranger qualification (school) doesn't necessarily mean assignment to the 75th Ranger Regiment or one of its Battalions. He may not be assigned to the 75th but rather at the Ranger Training Brigade or even another unit on post such as the 3rd Brigade 3rd Infantry Division. Anyway, I'll ask about him tomorrow if I remember. He may very well be in my old unit!

Nice CJ build, I love the no-frills approach, that's what I want to do to a 72 I am thinking about buying...

Any updates? It's a great looking Jeep!

So, after a while do the images get deleted? Wondering how things were going.
