Poll: Worst CJ of the Month June 2011
If your CJ didn't make the list, it is most likely that I didn't have a spec sheet on it. Put it together for next month, and let's see how you do!

June 2011 - Good Luck Guys!

It's ugly, it wobbles, not all the wheels match, it's got rust holes, the tailgate is missing, the front driveshaft is disconnected and strapped to the frame, because the Dana 30 is busted, the steering column and wheel is from a '93 XJ, God knows what the seats are out of, the PO painted driveline parts neon green and yellow and it smells like cat pee.

All CJ's are beautiful creatures, we should not demean their state of ill health or overlook their potential.

brian613 05-23-2011 02:45 PM

were not demeaning there state of ill health were simply comparing the naturally occurring strategically placed drain holes

hotrodzgarage 05-23-2011 05:15 PM

feewww I'm kinda glad I lost this one. lol:laugh:

mtbtweety 05-23-2011 05:22 PM

Fred had it at "cat pee"

SKT 05-23-2011 09:17 PM

My vote goes to the Daily Driver for the past 1.5 years.

All these "before" pics don't carry the same weight as someone DD'n a crusty CJ IMO.

A lot of props to you LucDog!

lucdog 05-23-2011 09:49 PM

SKT, that's why I voted for mine. Flynn's is way worse looking.

BagusJeep 05-23-2011 09:50 PM

Flynes cat pee smelling heap takes my vote. The others are all rebuildable but smelling of cat pee? I wouldn't know where to start on that mod.

Some of these are actually pretty interesting. I like the bog standard but tired and rusty Renegade from Three J, i would buy it in a heart beat. A bit of welding, a bit of paint, a bit of lube, a bit if trim and who knows, it could be another top of the line vehicle in Bali for surfers to drool over.

Not the strangest, but certinly unique. a CJ3b pto driven icecream maker.

kakai81 05-25-2011 02:20 AM

That guy who always posts in the CJotM thread with his busted CJ, primer paint, 37" tires (I think), and no engine, should post here next month. I expected to see him here and he never showed up. That's the only one I would have voted for before Fred.

Memphis5-0 05-25-2011 07:06 AM

Do you have to say anything other than "smells like cat pee"? I think not.

danheit 05-25-2011 03:41 PM

I think we have a pretty clear winner. HOWEVER, it ain't over for 5 more days, so anything could happen!

danheit 05-30-2011 03:26 AM

Alright folks, one more hour left!

The time now is 08:01 PM.
