Pilot bushing question

So my pilot bushing went out in the cj. Heres my ?, its an 84 7 with t176 4speed, but has a 72 304. What pilot bushing do I get? I cant measure the I.D. of mine because its wallowed out. So do I get a bushing for the trans or for the motor????

Get it for the original application (84 CJ w/four speed). The AMC engines all have the same bore for the pilot bushing, but the input shafts of the transmissions can vary.
