Pilot Bushing

My Buddy is changing a 3spd trans to a T18-1e. The front shaft is'nt long enough to fit into the pilot bushing. Has any one run into this problem? Does anyone know if and where a longer pilot bushing can be bought ?

Here are a few sources that you can try, you may have better luck just calling them on the phone and telling them what you need. They are are all very helpful!
