I thought the leg picture would be ok, can't remember who, but it was someone's avatar on the CJ section.

That's some thick gooo. It's holding his weight but swallowed his tires. Bet they had fun breaking that suction!

Yup. Sunk like a rock trying to pull a buddy out of the river. He got out and I went down. That pic was taken back in the mid 90's.

Many of the pictures on my build thread are resized, the older ones especially. The new owners are the same people that own Pirate and a bunch of other atomotive forums. They're based in Cananda. Seems like a good way to ruin what used to be a really nice place, back when Keith owned it, just screw with everyones pictures to save money. Maybe we all could save them some band width and just delete our threads.

They are working on a change but to resize ALL the attachments in ALL the post in ALL the forums is going to take some time.

I don't know why they needed to change anything, the software *was* resizing oversize pictures to a smaller format automatically before they dicked with it, the pictures had a yellow bar at the top that said to click to see the fullsize picture.

Jim,

The resizing, to me, just ruined my Dana 30 thread as it was mostly a picture essay. Having to click on each thumbnail stinks.

I might just delete the thread...

It resized good number of my pictures as well. Also makes it to hard to post pictures through the iPhone. A lot of those quick helpful heres what mine looks like iphone shots will no longer be posted. I hate having to click the picture and then back arrow back to read the test associated with it. Hope it gets fixed or this site surely will suffer.

That sucks Steve. I thought maybe it was just dependent upon what browser you were using but I looked at your thread and yes it's a bunch of thumbnails to me also. I use FireFox on XP. My build thread is still good so far, so either they didn'y get to mine yet or it has to do with the way they were uploaded and referenced. Mine still have the yellow banner that says it's been resized.
I'm glad they are addressing the issue of huge pics in posts that make you slide to the right to see it all and that effects the whole page, but for christ's sake don't turn them all to thumbnails. That makes all the builds really boring and a pita to read through!
