Pedal problems

My almost-roadworthy CJ5 has a couple of pedal issues I'm trying to solve.

1. The brake pedal sits up (toward the driver) much further than the clutch. It feels very awkward. The distance between my gas pedal (problem #2) and the brake pedal is a country mile. Switching between the two feels like I'm doing an aerobic step class on the high level. Can this be adjusted back 2-3 inches?

2. I got the Jeep without a gas pedal. I bought the only thing I could find that apparently matched the CJ, but it sits flat as a pancake. It doesn't look or feel right, although it does function. Does someone have a picture of their CJ pedals so I can see what it's supposed to look like in real life?

Do you have a better picture of the gas pedal/firewall area?

The gas pedal Arm looks correct. But the pedal hinges on the arm and is usually more upright. Could be a spring or something missing on the backside of the pedal.

That is the correct pedal, but yours has a broken spring.
Show a pic of the master / booster as POs love swapping in anything they can even if its not correct. You MAY have the wrong pushrod at the master or booster bracket if power.
