Man.... and here I thought beer and wine in a grocery store, 7-eleven, CVS was common place!

You can buy beer/booze from pretty much anywhere here in Florida, from a guaranteed bona-fide Indian store, too. But Wal-Mart is the biggest Bubba store we have. You can get underwear, jeans, smokes, chew, bait, beer, wine, tires, batteries, tools, groceries, and drugs, all at once!

NV is the same. Except you can gamble and get a hooker too.

I don't know how you fab guys make it look so easy. It literally took me all day to rebuild the bottom piece of the A pillar. Not perfect, but good enough.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! With all the major welding done on the tub it is time to finish up a few smaller projects. I have a nice set of YJ doors I will be using but they are locking and I have no interest in ever locking the doors. So I welded up a patch for the cylinder. Once I took the latches out and cleaned them up I neeed to make sure they did not lock any more. The 2nd pic shows the lock pivot. When you lock the doors it pivots and disengages a metal arm from releasing the latch. I put it in the unlocked position and tack welded the pivot.

Well, in typical fashion I did not get everything done this winter that I wanted to but its fine. I will get this project done eventually. Spent past month or so doing detail work on interior parts, powder coating, and tonight finished customzing my painless harness for my dash.

Your not the only one in the lack of winter CJ work done.

Even a little progress is better than none.

You know, as careful as I was with tying up wiring, tucking it here and there, installing loom, etc, it still looks like crap! I'm like Pigpen when it comes to wiring! Nice job on the doors, Paul. I had missed that.
