Paul, I bet you can find a drill extension to fit between the drill and cutter. If the cutter has a hex shaft, a 1/4" drive socket and extension might work too.

MoC's artistic influences have taken hold. I wish I could take credit for this idea, but it was all his. Cut the Jeep logo out of my old mangled tailgate. Welded up a frame, tacked it in place and instant art. I may take it to bare metal, leave it outside to get a nice rust patina and then clear coat.

Nice, I have a tailgate that only the logo is good on. I'm either doing what you did, or build a J truck tube tailgate.

Seems ironic that I would purposely rust a part of my CJ. Vinegar, Peroxide and some salt and instant rust. Couple coats clear and ready to hang. OK, now back to Jeep work.

Bill, your collection was my inspiration!

Sometimes (not often) a PO's shoddy work pays off. I bought a used tailgate and the inside had been herculined. I poured a little aircraft stripper on it yesterday to see what it would do. Nuttin. Tonight I noticed one of the corners was peeled up slightly. Started pulling on it and with the aide of my MAPP torch it all peeled off in one big sheet!

Ha, it seems all you have to do is look at your Jeep in the wrong way and it will start to rust! But I like your wall art, reminds me of mine from the side panel, complete with rust edging its way towards the logo.
