I like it Keith!

Just got home from the York PA Jeep Show. Had a great time. Met Dan from Double D Fab, great guy. If anyone needs a custom dash or metal work he is top notch!

Bought a few parts for the CJ and a couple for the house. I plan to powder coat the garage sign and attach to my garage door facing the street. Key holder is already in my kitchen.

No, I can't remember the vendors name but he had a ton of stuff. My father-in-law bought a Harley logo from the same vendor.

I seen this stuff and right away I thought of my friend who's half azzed trying to start a metalwork business with his plasma table. Two booths down, KORC was between, was my friend Craig's business, Krawl Works. This guy with the plasma table is a mutual friend and rents a room / bay off of Craig. When I walked over to him I pointed back and we both shook our heads because we both knew he was missing the boat on those products. We've both tried to urge him with both encouragement and ideas but he's in our opinion, squandering an opportunity. Now he does makes signs and stuff but only a few items for Jeeps (he owns a 4dr JK) but he doesn't try to market those.
So, why I'm rambling about this is leading to my question, and please, anyone answer. The more the better. Do you think theres a big market out there for that kind of stuff? Do you guys buy stuff like that often?

Did you happen to see the USMC Jeep dashboard the guy had on down on the other side of MoonShine Attire. I seriously considered buying that and my wife egged me on. I thought of all the added stuff I'd have to buy to make that work and the cost. But I'm partial to the stock looking dash

. The market would basically be limited to the amount of driving CJ's. From that it would cut down even more to just the guys who care about their running CJ's enough to buy this stuff. That's still a lot if jeeps but is a very limited market looking at it from a "marketing" standpoint.

The market would greatly increase if they were made in YJ, TJ, and JK grill styles as well.

With that being said if you market them effectively and get the product "out there" to the consumer Jeep would likely be sending you a cease and desist letter.

Yeah, that's Dan's (Double D Fab) work! My father-in-law was admiring that USMC dash.

Need some opinions. See how my hood has a spot that pops in/out.... is that normal? You can see I tried to shrink the metal with my torch but it did not really do anything. Quite possible I am not doing it correctly. I am heating around the edge where it buckles. Think this can be improved or just leave it alone?

Wow Paul- YouTube pops up some interesting video suggestions when your clip stops! My hood does the same thing.
