Passenger side drop rear axle

Ok here is my issue. I have a cj7 with a dana 18. I like the dana 18 due to having a warn overdrive. I want full length axles. Is there a full width axle with a passenger side drop?

Fullsize Jeeps with the Quadratrac transfer case have passenger drop rear axles. J-pickups will have the widest axles.

How do you havea '70 CJ7 when they didn't come out until 1976?

Welcome to the forum! I am fairly certain that both the AMC 20 and Dana 44 came offset in full width. Please correct me if I am wrong CSP! Any pics of your Jeep? The specs intrigue me!

Offset rear axles will either be the Dana 44 or Dana 60, depending on if it's a half ton or 3/4 ton.

I'm pretty sure that a 68-72 J4000 pickup had a Dana 60-2 axle. The housing is offset 6" to one side but I can't remember which side. The reason I know this is that I have one on my CJ7 that I cut 6" off one side to make the axles the same length on both sides.

The 60-2 is offset to the passenger side.

I have a J truck pass. drop axle if anyone wants it. I think its a D-44. I paid for it, but I'll give it away if someone wants to get it out of my yard.
