Ya, my dad is the same way, a pair of needle nose pliers helps him with the task LOL. In a pinch I could chew on my wallet, but you never know whos gonna need it. There are a lot of sissies out there.

Hah yeah I know. We usually just suture up my dog because she doesn't feel pain. It's so odd. My only stitches were on my face.

Thanks! The comments are appreciated.

I am finishing up the towbar. I have some pics, just basic fab work but pics speak their own dialect LOL.

I used 2x2x.120 tube for the bars. At first I thought I could use the front as a"foldable tongue", too much shifting play. Had to weld the tongue solid though. Still works but not as compact.

The tubes have 2" round cut in half to cap the ends and 3/4" x 1/2" dom crush sleeves installed. Of course the awesome shackle mount adapters designed by BESRK fit perfect. Used a 7 wire to 4 wire flat adaptor to wire up the harness for towing. I towed it around the block and it tracks good, stops whenI stop, thats a good thing!

WSS,

Damn, you do nice work!

On another note could you possibly take a photo of your power steering hose where it connects to your steering box. I just want to see how much room you have between the radiator and the hard lines.

Again, nice work on that tow set up.

Copy that, I'll get a good one this evening and post it.

It's gonna cost you! You have to post up your version too.

Glad it had some "posting" value.

**towbar info**

I mentioned it but did not elaborate much on the front tongue mount. A important detail is I had to weld the arms soild to the tongue due to it turning very much like a four link set-up. I figure i did not want the Jeep to pass me or even get out of line with the tow vehicle, so i welded it solid, making it a "non-adjustable" bar, meaning it will only fit my Jeep or one with the same shackle mount spread. No big deal, but I could have saved a bunch of time rounding and sleeving two ends of the bars.

Could you have just made a simple brace that bolts in turning it into the letter "A"?

Where were you yesterday when I needed advice? Oh man. Too simple. I could've made it slotted and then I would have retained my adjustable goal.

Throw that out there as a "TOW BAR UPDATE".

Dang, I welded that puppy solid too.

Thanks, I had my head shoved deep in that box. I was in the "get it done so I can wheel" mode.
