One piece front end alignment

Hi all

I'm installing a one-piece front end on my 1978 CJ7. The tub is fiber as well. The little lip at the bottom of the fender, where it meets the tub is sticking out. See the pic for reference. Is this normal? Think it looks a little akward.

Are you talking alignment or fitment? Does it stick out the same amount on both sides?

That's how my 'glass fenders fit to my 'glass tub too.. it's not a 1-pc fromt end, but it makes it look like the tub is missing a body line or something..

That rib on the stock steel fenders does the same thing. If the edge of the FG was rounded a bit more like the steel fenders it wouldn't be as noticeable. I'd rather have it do that than try and make it flush. If the rib was flush with the tub then the fender above it would be in-set from the edge of the tub by that amount and would look far worse. Since it's a one pc you don't have much choice anyway as you can't adjust the pieces independent of each other.
