This black 3-point tri-lock off road seat belt fits the front seats in 87-91 Jeep Wrangler (YJ). Sold individually. Fits left or right side.

If these are to replace factory 3 point belts, don't see why not... I too have some pretty frayed belts in my '83 CJ5. God bless.

I've been wondering where and what 3 pt belts would work best for my 1979 CJ5. Not that I'm close to needing them anytime soon (current frame-off), but for planning sake down the road.

The part that makes me wonder is the "offroad" in the description. They may not be DOT approved for on-road use...

I purchased a set of these from ebay for my CJ project. I haven't installed them yet but they look like good quality and seem to function well on the work bench. If they are good enough for a military Humvee I think they should work in a CJ. We'll see...
