Old Jeeps, quirky parts

So, my old Jeep is a 1976 CJ7 Q-trac. Now, when any old thing has been around that long, it is bound to pick up some odd details. Well, sometime in the late seventies, someone decided they wanted this Jeep to go a little faster, so they tossed in an RV bumpstick and an Eddy performer dual plane with a 600 cfm Performer 4bbl. The strange thing was the gas pedal. It says "Speed Pedal" on it, it's foot shaped, and has a heel with a joint in it, where the heel lays on the floor. Now, I looked all over online, and couldn't find anything even close to it, when I came across some old drum pedals. Turns out this pedal is a sawed off ~1966 Pearl bass drum pedal. Any one else have weird stuff like this on their Jeeps? This is the kind of thing that gives it some personality.

1976 CJ7 Quadratrac, El Toro, a true surviving relic with the dealership ACME top and Belleview winch.
