Anyone else notice the brochure listed a 4cyl. diesel as an option on a 1980 CJ?

It is also all in metric, so I am guessing it was one of those options that never would cross the pond. And after all we did for Europe in WWII, they can't share their diesels.

Well, that ate up most of an hour. I never have been aware of the slightest desire or lust for a Cherokee or Wagoneer, but those early 70's versions were SWEET! I still don't want one (can you imagine the cost of a total frame-up restoration on one of those things?) but I have a new appreciation for them.

Cool stuff!
