Oil spraying out of line.that goes.to charcoil canister

Oil is squirting out of where my.finger is.pointing, only when motor is running... HELP.

its the line right next to the fuel line... i have a 81 cj5 with the 151ci gm 4cyl if that helps.

hmm

Are you sure that's where it's leaking? I'd be more apt to guess that it's from your gauge sender which is right in that area and is showing up on that line. That line you're pointing to doesn't carry oil AFAIK.

If it's the original plastic/nylon line, they are known to get holes in them. Replaced mine with a copper line when oil started spraying all over the inside of my engine compartment. Problem went away immediately.

I saw the fluid not sure if oil.or what but its coming from a crack.in that line

Not familiar with the 4cyl, but if it's a steel line, chances are that's gasoline. Hopefully someone with a 4cyl will have some info...

Either way, that steel line isn't too expensive to come by, and with a bender you can get for a deposit at the parts store, you can replace it yourself if you're handy.

I have the a similar issue. Mine sprays out gas every once in a while and it'll come through one of the holes in the tub and hit my boots.

Ok im in idiot it is the plastic line going to my oil pressure gauge. When I looked last night it was dark lol
