oil pressure guage questions

i just noticed that my oil pressure guage is no longer working. when i turn the key to start it it sweeps up then goes back to "0" and stays.
any suggestions?

Think about switching to a mechanical gauge. A bit more work to install but more reliable.

Mechanical is the super reliable but then you get to deal with the oil line running into your cab. I have mechanical but want to go back to OE one of these days. Chances are your gage is fine and that your sending unit is toast. They come in two flavors. One will ready around 258 ohms when zero pressure and drops from there as pressure builds and the other starts around 60 ohms and does the same. There is some good information here on the forum to help you determine which you may have. The part will take about 5 minutes to swap out.

I just bought the braided ss line that was the correct length from a local hotrod shop. Easy.
