I'm getting ready to put in my drivetrain on my frame up resto on my 83 CJ-7. I have my new NV4500 to put in was wondering about any tips, or problems anyone knows about that I should look out for. I was also wondering specifically about fabricating the cross member, how much needs to be cut and where? Also, can anyone give me info about drivetrain location? I want the shifter to be about stock location along with the transfer case shift, while I am aware I am going to have to adapt the tranny cover I want it as close as possable. My small block 350 is out and I need to know if I need to adjut any motor mounts and the such. Everything fit great when I put in my 350 with the T-4 and Dana 300 T-case (Untill the tranny let go). Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks Ryan

I looked in my Advance Adapters book and found what I think is the crossmember support kit for the D/300, NV4500 setup and it's p/n 716021. But my catalog is old, so try the A/A website and they might be able to help. I've called them before with questions and they were very helpful with swap info. Hope this helps.
