Number for carb kit for mc 2150

I have been trying to buy a rebuild kit for my mc 2150.The original tag on the carb was replaced by a tag from the re-manufacturing Co. Auto-line. My local NAPA dealer couldn't cross reference the number so he called Auto-line. They bluntly told him that the carb. is the kit. They had removed the original tag and want you to buy another re-manufactured carb. from them. Any input would be appreciated. Thx

I've checked through Autozone and Advanceauto locally. I know they have them out there, try having them cross-referencing an '81 Ford Thunderbird, V8.

Here's one on teh ebay, maybe you could email them and ask for the part #.

By the time you do that, though, someone here will probably have a part number.

Yep, looks like a 2150. You also have a mechanically-controlled bowl vent, which you can hook up to the canister if you wanted to, to handle evaporating fumes to some extent.

Anyways, try Autozone or AA like I recommended, they should have rebuild kits for the carb if you have them look under the 80's Fords with a V8. Napa has only been good to me if I know exactly what the part number is for exactly what car. Even then they scratch their heads a lot and I wind up heading to AZ or AA.
