Newbie CJ5 renegade rebuild

well here goes....heres my cj5 304 renegade...had it less than two weeks, before I broke her all the way down to the block.

Im still in the middle of the build but have bunch of pics by the weekend hopefully...

I want to kick myself in the butt

for not taking pictures of taking tub, etc. off but here is where i picked up the camera..kinda

Starting to take off the wiring harness and motor apart.

Taking the tranny and transfer off, have to replace first gear and synchros...went ahead and did the whole rebuild and seal kit on both cases.

Finally got everything off and now for to prime and paint chasis...

Tore everything off and primed and painted with high heat paint

Time to replace the cluch with the master kit..

well been busy with work and all but here are some pics of the updated jeep...will be painting the single stage 2k paint this week.

sandblasting the the jeep,

repairing a few patch panels throughout jeep

welding 4" flat bar all the way around the jeep starting with back.

hey blake already did it man...this is basically a complete turnaround on this jeep...i had it exactly 1 1/2 weeks before i tore it apart...so im really ready to get it finished..im just been waiting for past week or so for the weather to get warm enough to paint...here some more pics.

new master clutch kit...

had to replace some patch panels, instead of cutting the old floor out and patching it in the exact spot, i cut the rust out and patched over it...since im going to be spraying raptor in it this week, i think it will still look good..

finally got the jeep painted, raptor lined, and putting body back on frame in about an hr..hope to you this baby painless wired and cranked by next weekend.

after getting jeep painted and raptored, i put the tub on the frame, mounted the body lift, installed clutch, brake, gas, master cylinder, and clutch assembly. here some pics of todays work.

Nice work, keep it coming along. How did you like the Raptor coating? I've just heard about it and may use it in my 3B tub floors.

worked great, im going to spray my truck, my dads, my moms, and all my other ones very very easy to do man...and it turned out great hard as a rock in five hrs..
