I think I am leaning towards the super top with the soft doors at this point. Does anyone have any pictures of the super top on their jeep with the doors on or one without the windows? I am trying to get an idea of what it will look like. I like the idea of having it completely open by just removing the windows. Thanks.

I've been using a Supertop on my Cj for about 20 years. I have the Yj top because I have the Yj half doors. This top is about 10 years old and still in very good condition. Only thing that ticks me off is you can't buy it in gray anymore.

Thanks for the pictures!! That looks great! What color is that? I see they have black denim and black offered. I really like how open it becomes without the windows. Looks like I wouldn't even need my bikini top anymore with it. Very nice.

The one above your post, post 18, looks like black denim. I'll be purchasing the same top but in black. I like the black because it reesembles the OEM look of black vinyl.

Thanks for all of your help on this. I ended up getting the super top in black denim with the tinted windows.

http://www.quadratec.com/products/11010_6XX_PG.htm

It is actually the only black offered like that because of the tinted windows. In order to get basic black I would have needed to purchase the top with clear windows. The top should be in tomorrow. I am pumped! Thanks again for the help. I ordered it from a local place in Holyoke MA called Endangered Species Jeep. They gave me a nice price on it.

I forgot to add, but I also bought the super top with the two piece doors. I figured they would be nice to have and they look really nice in the pictures. Thanks again.

Looks good! I still don't understand the idea of a lock on soft doors though......if they want them they'll just cut the window out, unless they won't unlock without the key......

I'm told the doors don't get stolen this way.

I'd rather be lost on the trails than found at home!

Yeah, that makes sense if you can't unlock them from the inside/ have to have the key to unlock them.

I have had a Bestop Supertop on my Jeep since 1994. I use Jeep for wheelin only. It has taken years of abuse and it has held up way beyond my expectations.
I would not hesitate to buy another.

Here are some more pictures of the top on the jeep. The doors are kind of a pain to adjust. Because they are fabric they flex a little, so getting a perfect fit, when closed, is pretty hard. The bottom doors went on no problem. Getting the full door to close and seal just took a bit of playing with the adjustments. I have them pretty good now, but there is one little gap in the passenger door. No big deal though. I just want it perfect, haha. The tinted windows are awesome! I am so glad I went with them.

The key moves a tab in the latch itself, so the doors will not open without the key, from the inside or outside. Even if someone unzipped the top and got inside, they could not get the latches to open without cutting the nader pin/latch or just cutting the door itself.
