Can you tell me any of the problem areas? I have been replacing things slowing. I have found that alot of parts are fairly new just dirty. Do you have any extra parts sitting around?

well that explains the motor rebuild...

Not so sure I would have told the new owner I was rough with a jeep he now owns.

I would rather him be honest about it. Its a Jeep i am sure he beat the hell out of this thing every chance he got. I am taking this baby back to her glory days so i would like to know as much about it as possible.

That thing is cool, would be awesome if you got the air working, maybe just needs to be charged. Post plenty of pictures, I just picked up a black 7 and love seeing what ideas others have. Good Luck!

P.S. Was it in 80 that the roll bar started going down behind the seats? I was asking the same questions as you about the wedge speakers and realized i can't use them because my roll bar mounts above my wheel wells.

the air ducts are all brand new, cleaned out and everything it just needs to be charged. new brake calipers new brakes. new axel seals new warn locking hubs. all axels have been cleaned out resealed brand new. only problem we had was the clutch, but preowned fixed that. mechanically thats all i can think of. far as extra parts think there all gone

you can still use them, they would just need to be mounted to the fenderwell with screws/bolts.

Would you be willing to part with the factory seats? How long did your family own the jeep? You guys must have had lots of fun in this thing because I am still washing clay off 4 months later.

well i looked back where my scrap pile was and the seat were gone, apparently some one has taken them. the bench seat really isnt worth anything at all its beyond repair. ill try to run and find a picture of the original seat so you can see what they look like if you run across it

Well thanks for all the info on the jeep. I have already spent a lot of time on the jeep and i hope to one day restore it to its orginal state. Please update me with any info you can remember from the jeep or if your find ANY spare parts or seats laying around. Can you tell me who rebuilt the motor and if any mods were made to it during rebuild. Just put flowmaster 40's on it last weekend and it sounds awesome.
