First you need to post web links. Most use photo bucket which is free.

As for the transmission look for a stamp or plate that ids it. http://www.novak-adapt.com/ helps to id a lot of them. What speed is it? What year jeep? What size motor?

Granny gear is a very low 1st gear, one you don't use under normal driving.
