New CJ5 owner and new to the site. I've got a ton of questions!!

Never owned a jeep before but have always loved em! I'm a pretty handy guy and decided to take up fixing an old 1980 Cj5. Just finished fixing up a 1979 vespa that i had no idea about until I just got in there and figured it out so now I'm hoping do the same with my new baby. Got lots of questions but some may seem silly cuz I'm not really sure what everything is. I'm hoping y'all can help me out?

Lots of help here. Figure out how to post some pictures, might not work right now though since the new forum owners are working on it, so we can see what your CJ looks like.

The good news is that aftermarket support is terrific. All the common wear parts can be found/ordered right at your local parts stores. (ie brakes, fuel, ignition, bearings, etc).

Common upgrades might be HEI, nutter, blazer blower, cavalier seats, etc.
