New to CJ Family

YAY I am finally the proud owner of a 1980 Jeep CJ7. It needs a lot of work. I have a odometer that is busted, original switches replaced with cheap toggle switches and a variety of other different problems.

I have been looking at JC Whitney but they don't seem to have all the parts I need/want, is there some other place that you guys can recommend for me? Any help would be appreciated.

There are several aftermarket places to buy Jeep parts.

www.4wd.com
www.quadratec.com
www.jeep4x4center.com

You can also go to google and type in what ever part your looking for and click "Shopping" at the top. Check out the forums sponsers, they help keep the site rolling.

Also look for part outs - CJ owners always have a ton of parts on hand and most are willing to give them up to help somebody out.

Bu the above companies are very reputable.

Craigslist will soon be your friend as well.... you will be suprised the amount of stuff you can buy off craigslist. Also, while this is the best site on the net for information about jeeps, look for local 4x4 message boards in your area check the classifieds there..... and keep an eye out on the classifieds here too.
