Exclamation Net Call Net Call Net Call!!!

I have a 1969 Jeep and the Master cylinder went out. I have access to the part #, and my mechanic has been in contact with Keiser, and wagner. They informed us that they only do a couple of runs a year and the rebuild kit is unavailable. I don't want to use a pick a part lot for obvious reasons. So I have turnrd to the Jeep Brotherhood for help. Any information would be most appreciated.

You have a couple of options,

I would start by calling around to the different parts stores, see if you can find one with a master cylinder in the warehouse somewhere and get it shipped to you.

The second choice would be the speciality supply places, like Collins Brothers in Texas and like places.
It's going to be MUCH more expensive through the speciality places, but when you need one, you need one.

Guys, since he asked his question in 2009, I would hope he's found an answer by now and isn't still searching for one.

Anyway, for posterity sake, in case anyone ever bothers to use the search function (yeah right) and stumbles across this thread in the future, Walck's has master cylinders for early CJ's http://walcks4wd.com/

Herm the Overdrive Guy also carries them: http://www.hermtheoverdriveguy.com/id2.htm

Actually that looks like what the person who brought it from the dead did. He probably had the same issue and was searching for the answer which is why the post came up.

His posts were only an exclamation point, and no words, so that's a pretty big leap of assumption. Since they've been deleted I would tend to think it was a spambot randomly posting junk rather than a person looking for answers.
